CHA Sneak Peeks Day 1

The Impression Obsession team is showcasing some new images being introduced this week at CHA! You can visit the I.O. Blog each day this week for links to the previews. Be sure to leave a comment on our designers' posts throughout the week for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate daily from Impression Obsession!

Last year we spent about a week in Arizona and the cacti happened to be blooming at the time... I was really struck by the beauty of the blooms, and also the notion of beautiful things occurring in the midst of otherwise desolate circumstances. Those thoughts inspired these drawings and the sentiments that go along with them.

Both of these cards were painted using QoR watercolors - I love the vibrancy and flow of these paints! The panel above is a 3-inch white Art Square from Inchie Arts, matted on a gel print from my stash.

The focal panel on this second card is Canva-Paper - I hadn't used it before, and I loved the results I got with the QoR. It can even go through the printer!

Stamps used: Prickly Pear, Prickly Pear Small, Be Here Now, Expect Miracles, CAC Calico
