Part of my new release is a art collection - lots of vintage art supplies, brush strokes and paint splatters. There are so many possibilities for these, and they're so much fun to play with! The brush strokes especially make great backgrounds for sentiments and sillhouette images.
On these cards I used Aquamarkers to color the brush strokes, then spritzed with water to allow some blending of the colors for stamping.
The markers stayed really vibrant, and I love that. The brushes and paint tubes were stamped, then shaded with watercolors to give them more dimension. Just a simple line of grey down one side really made them pop off the panel.
Stamps I used: Filbert Brushes, Paint Tubes, Splat 1, Brushstroke 3, Watercolor Wash, Expect Miracles, Live Life
