Mix-Ability: Halloween

Jeanne's got us making Halloween cards for this week's Mix-Ability challenge - here are a couple that I made using dies from Impression Obsession and prints from my Gelli Plate. Both of these cards will soon be on their way to MD Anderson in my Hope You Can Cling To box!

This first card has a fun technique added to it - the moon is made of cast toilet paper! I laid about 5 sheets of toilet paper onto an embossing folder, misted with water, and then sent the folder through my die cutting machine. Once the TP was dry it held the embossed pattern perfectly. So fun and easy!  Here's a closer look.

For the second card I did a little partial die cutting on the top panel to just have a few branches hanging down - that panel creates a hinge for the card.

I love this gel print - I love the unpredictability of printing! That sort of webby area behind the house is just so cool. Dies I used: Leafy Branch, Halloween Hill, Tree Frame

It's been a long week at my house - how about you? I'm ready for the weekend! See you Monday!
Thanks for stopping by!
