Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Shades of Fall
The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a project using autumn colors.
I wanted to test out my new Kemper Spatter Brush so I used it to create this inky background for an inlaid scene. You can see how I made the background in the video below! Really easy and fun.
The background has a fine shimmer over it, from a layer of copper and bronze PanPastels. I used Turquoise Inka Gold on the bird die cut.
Impression Obsession products I used: Bird Die set, Leafy Branch Die, Spring Medley clear set

clever idea with the pan pastel. makes a lovely sparkle.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful background, and card. I will probably never try this technique, but I love drooling over designer's card with that technique.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, love the spatter technique.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dina....I have that little tool but have not used it YET...thanks to your little video, I will certainly give it a try!

Beautiful inlaid scene. Love the rich orange background. I must watch your video for the spatter tool technique. The only time I ever used mine I got covered in speckles of paint - luckily it was only watercolour!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful background and bird. I love the die cut.
