Mix-Ability Challenge: Fall colors

This week's Mix-Ability challenge is to create a fall-themed mixed media project. I had some fun with some of my new stamps from Impression Obsession, and a background I made using this week's Alcohol Marker Marbling tutorial!

Things tend to evolve as they sit on my desk, and this card is made from precut pieces and half-finished projects! I used 3 Touch Twin Markers to make my background:

I stamped over the background, sponged, and mayyy have cleaned my brayer on it once as well. Nothing's safe. :)

The main image was watercolored and then cut using a technique I love to use to add dimension without adding layers. I'll work out a tutorial for that technique sometime soon!

Stamps I used: Leaf Collage, Grateful For You, CAC Oak, CAC Beauty Text

Come play!
Thanks for stopping by!

  5. I can see what you did to add dimension, Dina. Only because I have a die cut that does the same thing. This card is a beauty! You create awesome cards. :o)

  6. Beautiful, yet again! The background is 'Autumn misty' and the leaf colours are spot on. I love the way you've partially cut round the leaves to bring them forward. Genius!!
