Impression Obsession - August Team Favorites

I felt like playing with texture on this card, so I took a little modeling paste and mixed it with ink to stencil the blossoms and stems of the poppies here. (HERE is a tutorial from Splitcoaststampers on this technique - I truly don't remember what medium I used to mix the color in but just about anything will work... markers, powders, inks, reinkers or acrylic paint, mixed in with a palette knife.) Once the texture paste was dry I did a little smooshing for the background, and then cut the panel to size for my card (this one is 3.5" x 5.5") and used one of the new edger dies for a curved cut.
