my Wizard of Oz kick

I've mentioned the artist swap group I'm in on Facebook - my most recent swap was a Wizard of Oz themed swap of 3 small art items. This was a really fun theme to work with! I started with this piece, but when I shared it as a work in progress, someone offered to buy, so I thought.... selling is swapping... ;)

This piece is going into my swap package - this was a thrift store find - about 20 cents for an unfinished wood Christmas door hanger that was transformed with some black gesso, Memento Luxe ink and colored pencils.

This bookmark is also going in the package - you might recognize the artwork - do you? It's the same sketch I used for my Alice in Wonderland bookmark. This one is printed with the opening paragraph of the book, and colored with acrylic paints and markers.

I'm tucking a wire necklace inside... the glass piece is a copy of the book cover.

Finally one more piece that was inspired by the swap but didn't make it into the package, because it sold first. :) I had so much fun painting this one that I painted 2 more and they are for sale in my etsy store. This one is done with acrylic paint on a 4" square canvas panel.

When I ordered the Make Art prints I added this little print to my order... This is a 4" giclee print with a 1" border around it (6" square), printed on canvas-textured paper. Prints are $8 + ship, and they're in my Etsy store.

That's all I know! Have a great week!
Thanks for stopping by!
