Mix-Ability - School's Out!

This week's Mix-Ability challenge is to create a summer or graduation card to celebrate the end of the school year!

I had this fun background made with Brusho Crystal Colors on clay coated cardstock (Mohawk Color Copy Ultra Gloss) - on the coated cardstock, the Brusho spreads less, so it has a more spotty, splotchy effect than it does on watercolor paper. The die cut is watercolor paper, just to contrast the two. The graduation die is called Grads Tossing.

I used dies for the sentiment too -Alphabet Plain LC and Greeting Set - then a few random sequins to pull the design together. I'm asked quite frequently what the best glue is for sequins, and I find that Tacky Glue works the best for me.

  1. What die is the "graduation"?

  2. I'm sure any graduate would be pleased with this card. It appears the background as well as the graduates could be colored in the appropriate school colors.
