Easter Lilies
Tiffany's Mix-Ability challenge this week is to create a project with a faith, Easter or spring theme! Surprisingly enough, I had some appropriate Easter stamps to use. Yay me!
I had some fun the other night just playing. I bought myself a set of Inktense Blocks for a belated birthday present, and finally got them out. I inherited some embossing folders that are too wide for my Big Shot, so I thought I'd try using them for monoprinting. I spritzed inside the folder, rubbed a block over the wet area, then laid watercolor paper on the folder to take a print. This is one of the backgrounds I made using a rose folder. I'll share another one next week! Maybe a tutorial is in order, if anyone's interested. :)
Here's a closer look at the lilies and the background. There's some Old Silver Inka Gold rubbed over the background that doesn't show in the photo. Stamps I used: Loving Lily, Loving Lily 2, Rose Typographie
