Always on my mind...

Not sure who first led me to pop over to Aha Arts, but if it was you, thank you! The style of the artwork is a diversion from my usual realistic style, but I was pleasantly surprised that the watercolored version turned out 'me' anyway.

This is the set that I used... I bought it with Hope You Can Cling To in mind, because I loved the sentiment and the range of emotions on the girls' sweet faces... I was feeling particularly overwhelmed yesterday, so the melancholy of the blue girl grabbed my attention. She's watercolored using Shinhan Premium Watercolors.

Here's a closer look - I love her little pout. I had a few of those moments yesterday too! Change is hard. And I could not FIND anything!

I added a little tag with a sentiment from Power Poppy... it fit my mood, and I love that song as well! I used this week's sketch at Splitcoaststampers to get me going.

Still struggling to get organized, but I have a larger desk coming that will really help me feel less cramped in my live-in closet. I'm at a card table right now, and I'm thankful for it, but a little tired of rotating piles to make room to work. Not to whine though...  we certainly didn't come all this way for me to be comfortable crafting. :) My husband has been experiencing much less anxiety on this side of the ocean, and we made steps today toward getting him in to Mayo Clinic very soon. Good things... good things.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Thanks for stopping by!
