Jar of thanks
Just a fun and cheery card for your Monday! I was going to share this during the blog hop a couple of weeks ago but ended up switching it out. A note of thanks to all who have helped us through our transition back into life Stateside. What a blessing... wow, what a process we're in!
I cut the Hollyhocks and Mason Jar out of watercolor paper and colored them using Touch Twin Markers. The colors I used are below. The sentiment stamp is from the Hydrangea clear set.
To create a background for the jar scene, I debossed the Circle Shaker Frame into the white panel, using the embossing plates for my Big Shot.
These are the Touch Twin Markers that I used:

Have a great week!
Wow! This is so beautifully done! Great coloring!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Dina. I've always been fascinated with debossing with wafer dies. I'd love to see this technique done (I don't see any tutorials on SCS). You have achieved such nice depth and interest with both your coloring, the die cuts, and the debossing. Lovely work.
ReplyDeleteTerrific job. Love your color combination.
ReplyDeleteDina, your coloring on the flowers and jar is wonderful. They really do look lifelike and the colors are so appealing to me. Gorgeous work.
ReplyDeleteJust so beautiful! Love the brightly colored flowers and the fantastic debossed background.
ReplyDeleteI, too, would like to know how you did the debossing on the background. Just love your card and you have such great artistic coloring talent.
ReplyDeleteI really love this Dina, your coloring is outstanding.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Dina - this is so pretty! Love how you colored the jar and debossed the flowers in the background. Hope things get settled soon, I know it's overwhelming ♥
ReplyDeleteI love this debossing. Is it done by just using the spongy mat? Interesting!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! Send it to me!
