Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Anything Goes
The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a card. Period! Any entry using Impression Obsession stamps is just fine.
Last week there was a challenge on Splitcoaststampers to use the Emboss Resist technique - there are several variations of this technique that all involve coloring over a clear embossed image. I embossed the Darling Dahlia image in with clear powder, then colored the panel using a waterbrush and Ranger reinkers (Shell Pink, Currant, and Lemonade). The sentiment is HERE.
To allow the inks to bleed and blend into each other, I wet the entire panel with a spray bottle, then brushed and dotted the inks, beginning with the lightest color, and adding more color each time.
