Fall Fun blog hop!
Soooooooo........... a group of online buddies decided the holiday weekend in the US would be a GREAT time to get inky together, and we've put together a fall-themed blog hop to inspire you as the autumn approaches. As you meet our stampy bloggers today, you may discover that some (like ME!!) have goodies for you, so be sure and visit everyone on the list... you just never know what you'll find! We have hoppers from all over the globe today, and they are amazing artists. Thanks for visiting us - grab yourself a nice fall beverage and enjoy!
Isn't this a great hop? Being in a place where we have two seasons - wet and wetter - Fall is one of the things I miss the most. This is an Impression Obsession stamp, part of trio of gorgeous fall images, called Fall Triptych 1. I stamped the image on watercolor paper, colored in base colors with Touch Twin Markers, then used Derwent watercolor pencils to fill in the rest of the colors and shading. The card base was floating around on my desk - something I assembled months ago... the darker panel was made using a polished stone technique on glossy cardstock, with Cover-a-Card Tapestry stamped over the top. The tan panel is embossed with a Fiskars texture plate.
It so happens I have one of these gorgeous stamps from Impression Obsession to give away! I'll draw a random name from the comments on this post on Friday (midnight EST) and contact the winner by email, so make sure you leave me a way to contact you!
From here you'll be moving on to Wanda's blog, Cullen-ary Creations! Thanks for visiting my blog!

Dina, What a lovely card!! This scenery is exactly what a friend just requested me to make for her ... I wondered where in the world I could find a stamp to fill her request, so I am praying .... my hope is that God will honor my prayer to help out my friend who is also going through some rough waters at present. If only I could take coloring and shading lessons from you, too!!! You are blessed with some beautiful talent from the Lord, Dina!! Thank you for sharing such a gorgeous card! ~Amy S.~
