Impression Obsession - June Team Favorites

I used a couple of stencil sets to make this card come together! The stencil featuring LOVE with the paw print is designed so that you can ink the paw in a different color. There are some other  paw prints on the stencil as well. The dotty background is done with just one layer of the layered paw stencil - used together, the layers make a pattern of paws, hearts, and dots. Each piece can be used individually as well. I moved the stencil around a few times and inked with a varying amount of ink on my brush to create some depth.

I had a booth at a really fun event this weekend - a friend of mine runs a non-profit locally to help moderate the cat population in our area and she put on a "Paws in the Park" event. There were lots of fun outside activities, and the vendors were inside with dogs and cats for adoption, a silent auction, and some other fun goodies for participants. I gave out lots of information about pet portraits and made a bunch of dog bandanas in summer themes. Here is my little model!
