Impression Obsession DT Theme - Giving Thanks
The Impression Obsession team has some projects to share today featuring a theme of gratitude - we'd love for you to play along with us!
I hadn't shared this card yet - this was made using one of my stencils from the August release! I used a fun gel printing technique to print the bird image from my layered stencil set (links below) and then added a little more brayering and stamping to the background. I wanted to work with non-traditional colors, so I chose these 3 colors just looking at the values - dark, medium and light. It's a different effect that reminds me of the tricolor printing in mid-century children's books. I have used these 3 colors for patina effects too, so they go together in my head.
