Impression Obsession - new products for August!

It's time for a new monthly release from Impression Obsession! Haven't seen the new products? They're all HERE - go take a peek! I'll wait. There is a LOT to see! I love love love the grouping of MY new products in this release - they are full of heart and new art, and some of my favorite things. I'd love to hear what your favorites are!

I'll always lead off with a Pooh set if there is one, so here is Piglet with a wish themed set! This is the main image, and there's also a little wisp of dandelion 'wishes' blowing away. Those can be added to this image, or used for a background or accent. There are 3 thoughtful sentiments as well. I watercolored this card in several layers on my favorite Fabriano hot press paper - this one has a smooth finish and is great for stamping.

My second card features the set with another clear stamp set and a combo stencil that has a cloud edge on 3 sides and a grassy border at the bottom. Piglet is just the right size to sit on this large mushroom! (I also like pairing it with this snail set - so cute.)

I did the stenciling with dilute watercolor paint and a wide brush along the top edges of the clouds, then used the brush to create bottoms on the clouds. The grass was done in several layers. Ahhhh, I love that sentiment, and the subtle Peter Pan reference.
