Spellbinders December Glimmer Kit!

There are so many things you can do with Spellbinders' December Glimmer kit  - I'll share it first so you can see. Each half of those frames is a separate piece, so you can mix and match or just use one or whatever suits your card design.

For this first card, I just used the floral frame piece, foiled with the brass foil. I used markers and QoR paints for the coloring.
This was a particularly rough week for our small community and this quote struck a chord - it just needed to be on a card today, and I posted it to Facebook for whoever else needed its comfort. It is from Impression Obsession's Serendipity line, and you can find it here.

I love that bright brass foil - so pretty. My second card is also foiled, and I used three plates at once to create a full frame and combined sentiment.

Press 'n Seal wrap is an incredible help for foiling - I laid the plastic down sticky side up, aligned the foiling plates with my grid mat, then stuck them down...

I flipped the plastic over and stuck it to my card, then lifted one piece at a time to tuck the foil underneath.

I used Karin markers to color in the oranges and as a base for the other watercoloring I did on the panel. Additional shadows were added with a Copic marker.

As I mentioned in my last post, this will be my last month sharing posts with the club kits - it has been a joy but it's time to pass my spot to someone else so I can focus on other things. I'll still be working with Spellbinders releases from time to time, and I look forward to seeing what they have in store!

Here are the club details, in case you'd like to join! There are so many clubs and combinations to choose from.
