Spellbinders Stylish Script Collection - August release!

I hope you're ready for some new products from Spellbinders! I'll be sharing posts over the next 3 days to show off new releases from this month.

The Stylish Script Collection is a new release for July/August - the collection features several fun scripty sentiments to be used with the Spellbinders Glimmer System, or your heat foiling system of choice.

I thought this cute Beautiful Ride sentiment would pair nicely with the Enjoy the Ride set - this was a small die kit last May, and I love anything Spellbinders makes that has to do with transportation! I used Copic markers and a white Pitt marker to add some dimension to the little moped. The cans were from a wedding-themed add-on set that goes with the Sunday Drive car - that one would go with this sentiment nicely too!

I really liked how my sky turned out (Cloud Edger stencils from A Colorful Life Designs used here) so I didn't want to cover it up permanently - my sentiment is on a little banner that flips up to reveal this cloudy sky.

Here's another card made with a Stylish Script plate - this one is More than Chocolate, and it's another foiling plate. Using brass foil, I embossed the sentiment onto some double-sided foil paper from Rinea - this is a new product to me, and it's very interesting to work with - it foiled very nicely, and it will also hold its shape when folded or curved. This particular sheet was brown on one side and gold on the other, so it made a perfect wrapper for my little candy bar card!

That candy bar stamp is one of mine, and you can find it here. It's a full background but it trims down nicely to any size you like. I added shading with Copic markers and a few colored pencil highlights.

These little plates are so fun, and integrated nicely with stamps and dies I already had in my possession - there are a few more in the collection with more everyday sentiments too!

I'll be back tomorrow with this month's club kits, and then I have some projects to share using some new holiday designs!

Thanks for stopping by!
