Splitcoast Tutorial: Liquid Shaker Card

This week's tutorial over on Splitcoast is a fun twist and update to an older concept - these Liquid Shaker Cards are a lot of fun!

Here's a peek at my project, and I'll share the full card tomorrow - I wanted to get away from the usual ocean theme that these cards usually follow, so I played around and created an interactive element to my card that looks just like a cup of coffee with an upflow of creamer. Yay!

Here are the things I used to get this look - clear hair gel is the base, followed by some Sepia Color Burst mixed in well. I finished off with a couple of drops of white gesso, and pushed the gesso around a little, but not to a point that it mixed completely. So fun! I love that there are some bubbles trapped inside too.

Fun stuff! More tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping by!
