Splitcoast Tutorial: Pastel Stencil Press

It's my turn to share a tutorial over on Splitcoast, and I'm sharing my Pastel Stencil Press technique!

I hope you'll pop over to the technique page to see how these backgrounds are made - I used this gorgeous new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs - you can grab it for 10% off with code DinaFan10! It reminded me of waves, which inspired my diving card as well as the fishbowl.

This is the die set I used for both cards - the frame cuts a window opening, or it can be layered or used for borders. The fish are in the bowl below! The scuba diver dies are here.

For the fishbowl I layered my background behind a circle opening. The base of the bowl is a snow globe base with some white pencil highlights.

The sentiment is one of my favorites from my Introverting clear set - it seemed to fit well with a fishbowl theme!

I'm looking forward to playing more with this technique and different stencils today - I hope you're inspired to try it with your supplies too!
Thanks for stopping by!
