Splitcoast Tutorial: Pop Out Explosion Card

This week's tutorial over on Splitcoast is a Pop Out Explosion Card - it's sort of a card within a card that's just fun to open.

I used stamps from Strawberry Jude for my card today - I just love this Awesome Memes set. The store is closed right now due to a move, but I don't want you to forget about them - they're going to need some customers when they open up again! The front panel is colored with Copics and a little colored pencil.

I used one of the Creative Corners to line up my square panel on the diagonal - that worked perfectly! (Stay tuned - next week I'll be joining the My Sweet Petunia team for a blog hop!)

Inside my card, I stamped my upper panel and left a little space for a greeting below. (In the tutorial, she decorates the triangular panels on the sides - I used patterned paper for my insert, so I layered the square panels instead.

Hope you'll try this out!

I'm on my way to recovery from the flu - with stamp designs submitted for summer, fall, and winter, I'm back to commissions. Check Instagram for my progress on a pair of budgies this week!
Thanks for stopping by!
