Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Pick a Holiday
The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a holiday project. Any holiday will do!
I never got to share this canvas panel, so I'll pick Mother's Day as my holiday! This is a piece I did to showcase some of Seth Apter's stamps from a release last year, and I used a photo of my mom when she was a little girl. The sentiment is from my stamp line.
The panel on the side is a scan of one of my Granny's recipes - that was a fun element to add as well! The stamping is done with a combination of hybrid inks and acrylic paint.
The buttons are all 'threaded' with strips of paper - I love that little trick... keeps the buttons from looking naked, and it helps them adhere better too!
