Splitcoast Tutorial: Inlaid Die Cuts

Today it's my turn to share a tutorial on Splitcoast! I've been working for weeks on a tutorial showing the way I do inlaid die cut designs. I hope you'll check it out! I love the look of the single layer, all pieced together like a puzzle. Here are some of the samples and variations I made for the tutorial video - there are some additional tips in the video too! The butterfly and flower dies are from Spellbinders.

I love how easy it is to change a scene around, just by changing the order in which the dies are cut.  In this next card, I cut the circle second....

...and in this card I cut the circle last!

Hope you'll try it out!
Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Beautiful cards. I've never come across this technique before, but it seems simple and extends the versatility of the dies - always good. Every time I view your blog I learn something. The tutorial is excellent. Thank you so much.
