SNSS July Release Hop!

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is celebrating their new stamp release today with a fun blog hop, and I have some designs in the mix! So excited to finally share them with you here. If you just happened on the blog hop because you're a regular reader of my blog, and you'd like to view the entire hop, you can start back at the Sweet 'n Sassy Blog - you'll find a full list of participants there, and all the details you need. If you're already hopping and you arrived here from Kim's blog you're doing just fine.

My set this month is called Bridge of Hope. It is full of sentiments of sympathy and encouragement. Here's a look at the whole set, available now!

I couldn't wait to pair the bridge image with Korin's Cherry Blossom Branch - what a perfect combination for an Asian scene!  I stamped the branch first, watercolored it, then masked it using Crystal Lacquer and stamped the bridge right over it.
See those dimensional flowers on the branch? Those are the negative cut-outs from the Lacey Border Die below! I gave them some shape by pressing them into a foam pad with a large stylus.
We'd love for you to come celebrate the new release with us over at the SNSS forum at Splitcoaststampers! There will be challenges posted throughout the day. And prizes!

After you leave a comment here you'll be hopping on to Monika's blog! Hope you are enjoying the hop!
Thanks for stopping by!
P.S. If you like my stamp designs, stop by and 'like' dkdesigns on Facebook!

  15. Long time ago I read or heard the story behind the writing of the song that begins, "When peace like a river ...". Forever that hymn will strike a cord in my heart when I hear it again. I am so glad to be able to have the stamp for it.
