Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Valentines/Love

Today the Impression Obsession team has challenged each other to make Valentine cards. Always one step ahead, I tell ya...

The stamps I used on the main panels are from the Heartlines set by Leigh Hannan - love those cute birdies!! I colored them with Neopiko Markers then added some shading with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. There is clear glittery paint on the hearts - that shows better in the close-up below.

My favorite part of this card, which maybe you didn't even notice.....see that plaid panel? I made that with one of the new
"Cover-a-Card" background stamps. This is the one called "Thick and Thin" - I stamped it one way with the pink ink, then turned it a quarter turn and stamped with lime green. I used those colors as a theme in my colored panel. Cool, huh? My base panels are embossed with a Fiskars texture plate.

Remember, Impression Obsession has all their stamps at least 20% off until Sunday... Be sure to visit the rest of the girls - they're showing off their Valentines too! And...you may just see some sneak peeks of stamps that will be revealed at CHA...!!
