Day 4: Encourage one another's Hearts and Souls...
Stampers are some of the most generous and encouraging people I have met. Heart & Soul Rubber Stamp Co. is today’s sponsor, and their stamps embody that heart. For today's challenge, make a card to send to someone who needs encouragement.
Come back to this post and leave a link to your card creation in the comment section below. Be sure to let us know who you're sending it to! Your card and link must be posted by January 11th at midnight EST.
Prize: Our favorite entry will win 5 unmounted stamps from Heart & Soul Rubber Stamp Co., winner's choice.
Bonus prize: make your card PURPLE and be entered in a random drawing for a custom text stamp of your choice (that saying or verse you’ve always wanted to have rubberized - how cool is that?!)
Here's my card - I had the hardest time getting a good picture of it - it really does match better in real life..but this was one of those 'rescue effort' cards that just evolves as it does because 'it can't get any worse'...and then turns out to be not so bad after all. I pulled out my Twinkling H2Os for the purple background - wanted to do white amarylisseseses (howeveryouspellthat) but that didn't work, so it just went from there. Anyway...purple because Sue said so. :) Not sure yet who I'm going to send this to......but hope it gets your wheels turning!
I need encouragement Dina...*hinthinthint* jk...Fabulous card ! Love it.
ReplyDeleteWow! I LOVE this purple!! Beautiful card, Dina!
ReplyDeleteDina, I made this card for a dear friend, Renee, who always is ministering to our sisters in Christ. (The card I made is cased from the SU! Fall/Winter Catalog. I changed the colors, but unfortunately did not choose purple!)

ReplyDeleteWhat a cool prize!!
What a great way to inspire others to actively think about encouraging someone!!
ReplyDeleteHere is my PURPLE encouragement card! http://www.myotherblog2.blogspot.com/ I intend to send this to a friend from church who is dealing with cancer.
Have a great day!
I forgot to tell you that I am sending my card to a lady in my church who needs encouragement due to family/health problems.
ReplyDeleteHey Dina! My nine year old has asked if he can participate in this challenge too?? He has been watching me with much interest as I've made cards for your challenges. He made a card this morning and it is posted with mine at http://www.myotherblog2.blogspot.com .
ReplyDeleteHis card is purple and for someone's encouragement. When I asked him who he intended to send it to, he quickly came up with the idea to send it to a friend who recently moved away and is probably missing friends from here!
Thanks! This has been a lot of fun! Love the Perk Up card. Coffee themed cards are always fun.
I definitely am into encouragement! This is for someone in our church body who is going through a very unique trial...I've been meaning to make a card for her for some time. Thanks for the incentive to get it made!

I did not go all purple, but I did make a card with stamps I have not used yet.....The sentiment is Heart and Soul. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1191579?cat=4420
