Love in Lime

All stamps are from Heart & Soul Rubber Stamp Co. - the verse and also the day lily stamp on the next panel. I can't remember ever making a lime green card before but it worked for me - I like! I've noticed that the cards I've made since we got home from Singapore have been really bright, or bold color combinations...I'm sure there's some psychological reason for that...! I used the sketch challenge (SC194) from SCS on this one - I can't remember the last time I did a sketch challenge!

I stamped the lilies on watercolor paper using Lime Pastel ink (Colorbox Fluid chalk), then watercolored around them with Adirondack Willow reinker. Decided to leave the coloring at that. Not sure why the base panel dp was still floating around on my desk, but it worked too. (When did I used that paper before?)

Don't forget about Heart & Soul's superific overstock grab bag special this month - as few or as many stamps as you want, just 50 cents apiece...and all your money will be donated to hurricane victims! How cool is that? You can see Sue's blog post here for more info. Hmmm...just got an idea for some RAKs..... Oh...and I know when Sue's birthday is too...Sue, am I allowed to tell?
