nooooooooooooooo............................

I had to run out of the office to talk to a friend, and left the 2YO behind with Dad, who wasn't paying attention to him since he was SO QUIET.................DUMPING OUT ALL MY EMBOSSING POWDER...................................................!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK, "could have been worse," right? At least the microbeads, confetti, and mica powders are still intact.....and the powders dumped inside the box will make a lovely mix...a lot of it, too...lovely gold-silver-copper-verdigris! I so rarely emboss, but am working on a project that I embossed on, and that project yesterday...I had just seriously thought yesterday - I should start embossing more! LOL I do have some other mixes and sparkly EPs that are stored up higher, so all is not lost...but I think I'll have to do some shopping here soon, at least for the basics again. * sigh *

  1. Boy oh boy, does this bring back memories! Our son got into my stash of ep and glitter when he was 22 months or so - and proceeded to make a nice little pile right on the carpet. I had the prettiest vacuum in town for a looooong time :)

  2. I had a similar incident when a sitter thought it was ok for my kids to play with the ep's, and mix in some embossing fluid as well...what a terrible mess! She never sat for us again (it was actually a niece of ours)....

  3. Oh no indeed!! Luckily my son was much older when I started making cards, so no such disasters here!

The mix should be interesting to use anyway...:)

  4. I felt so bad seeing your mess. I'm sitting here in rainy Michigan, and I cried out, "Oh no!" My son came running into the computer room to see what was wrong. I wish I could send you my embossing powder right now. Awk! What a mess. I have embossed all of my Christmas cards for the past 7 years (between 60-80 cards each year). I'd better get going on that activity soon. If there is anything I can do, let me know. God bless you. Elizabeth S. in mid-Michigan barry at sova dot net

It is amazing that ANY of us made it to four (for if our mom's weren't tested by the two's they were by the three's)!
