Sing to the Lord

I just realized that I forgot to post my other cards from Our Daily Bread's June releases! Better get those out before I have the new releases in my hands.........! So here are a couple cards using the Sing to the Lord set. The first card features one of the verses in the set - the size of the verse makes it great as a focal image on the card. ODBD sells the black vellum that makes the left hand panel. The silver printing on it is so pretty! You can't see it very well on the photo, but across the bottom, I turned over the vellum and stamped the flower image from the set in black ink.

The second card is watercolored, using Derwent pencils and a waterbrush. I made the bird a robin this time.....he's a great shape for that, don't you think? The saying on this card is from Heart and Soul Rubber Stamp Co... (Hi Sue!) and ya know, I used it even though he's not a sparrow. Still true, no? It's a bird thing.

Something else you probably can't see in the picture - in the flower centers there's Diamond Dust. That stuff is so sparkly!
