birds of the air...

I'm not sure who makes this bird stamp...I purchased it on a full sheet waaaaaaay back when I first started participating on www.rubberstampauction.com - when there was still a sense of community and competition there. Sigh...those were the days. I still have some online friends from those times (Hi Jacki, Monika, Isabelle...!). Fun stuff. Anyway! I felt like watercoloring a scene, so this is what came of that. The verse is from My Heart Stamps for You, and the tree is from StraightForward Stamps, available through Biblical Impressions.

The background panel to the left is a leftover piece from some experimenting with the Smackin' Acetate technique - fun to play with if you've never tried it (I use reinkers instead of markers, and I think this piece even incorporated some glitter glue).
