Impression Obsession - March Team Favorites
The IO Team is back today to share a favorite card from this month's release, so here's mine! Head over to the Impression Obsession Blog for all the links so you don't miss anything.
I usually cut a full die set out of watercolor paper and then color the pieces individually - it saves me time hunting for colored scraps of the right colors. For this card I cut my pieces out of kraft cardstock instead, for a different look. I used Copic markers for the leaves and berries, and colored pencils for the flowers and some little details. It's a different look and I like it! The other elements of the card were already precut - a piece of corrugated cardboard that I use to protect my glue pins when they ship (I think I added a coupon code to that link - check me!), a sheet from one of my paper packs, and a couple of die cuts from scrap papers. That polka dot paper is white, and I added a little color to the edges with brushed ink. It might have even been brown ink - I have one brown pad that always looks reddish when it's brushed.
IO Products:
I wanted to pass on some info about the IO site, blog, and product links too! On April 1, we will launch a brand-new Impression Obsession website. With many new features, a clean, fresh interface, and a much-improved ability to search products, we are excited to bring this site to you!
What does this mean for you?
--If you have an account on the current site, you will lose your order history and your wish list - if you want to note those items, be sure to do that very soon! If not, you'll have fun exploring the new site and finding new favorites!
--Older product links on our blogs and other platforms will need to be updated manually - please be patient while we work on that! Also, please note that the IO website will be down for 24-48
hours beginning on March 29 as we transition to the new platform.
That's all I know!
When you shop through the affiliate links used here, the company sends a small commission my way at no cost to you as thanks for the referral.
It's a lovely way to partner with these companies that mean so much to our creative community. Everybody wins!

Love the muted tones on this sweet card Dina - the kraft cardstock certainly gave a soft look to this beautiful creation
