Impression Obsession - more December kit projects

The team is sharing more projects today using this month's stamp kit from Impression Obsession! I mentioned the scene stamps yesterday - here is a sweet snowy village scene.
I watercolored this card but kept my colors to a minimum. Before painting, I used a glaze pen on the smoke trails and windows to resist the paint. The deer is a die cut and that link is below. I was intending to have a line of footprints behind him but now that I'm looking at them, they look a little more 'upright' - so interpret that as you will.

  1. Love your gorgeous background on this beautiful card Dina

  2. Oops, anonymous on the last post was me, too! Thanks for the tip on the glaze on the smoke. That's something I've wondered about when making overall color. I love the way you cut the bottom of the card and put the greeting under that. Just a nice little difference.

  3. Your card is unique. Love the cut out portion and the addition of the deer.

  4. I love your card! I love the soft pink around the village.

  5. I love your sky and winter scene!

  6. How cute this scene is. I like the edging!

  7. Beautiful!!! I can almost see the softly falling snow.

  9. Love winter houses and snowy, peaceful scenes! This is gorgeous! Thanks for the glaze pen tip!

  10. Oh my gosh. This reminds me of the cold crisp beautiful glow in our Michigan skies at sunset when winter hits hard. This is beautiful!
