Impression Obsession February Release Hop Day 1

It's time for a new release from Impression Obsession! In this new model, each person on our artist team creates 3 collections that are released over a 6 month period. This month is one of "my" months and I'm so excited!

All the new stamps are on the site now and you can check them out HERE - I'll wait!

We are kicking off the month with a 2-day hop, showing off the new releases. If you're already hopping and you came from Anna's blog you are in the correct place. If not, head over to the Impression Obsession Blog for the start of the hop so you don't miss anything!
It's always fun during these blog hops to be able to share my stamps, some thoughts behind them, and some fun ways to use them. When I sit down to create a new release, I try to think of what kind of cards I want to send, and then fill in the gaps from there. I have really been wanting to add some crafter's stamps to my line, so this month's collection is full of those! I sized these little vignettes intentionally so they'd be a good fit for any size card, including the slimline size which is so popular right now. There is one set with a painting theme, one set with a stamping theme, and one set with a sewing theme. I hope you like them as much as I do!
I chose a square card format for this card (5" square), and stamped in Versafine Clair ink. The coloring here is done with QoR watercolors, with some additional details added with colored pencils. This stamp is designed to be positioned in one corner of the card, but you can angle it many different ways - it's so much fun! There's also a separate palette stamp and one with just the paint tubes - that one makes a great background. Fun fact - the floral images were actually watercolored by me for a stamp set (retired now).

Keep hopping for more inspiration - I hope you'll see more samples from my collections on the other blogs!
Each day (Feb. 1st & Feb. 2nd) you can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog. We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession $25 gift certificates for the event - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win!
All comments for each of the event days will be open until Monday Feb. 8th at midnight CT. All winners will be announced on Tuesday Feb. 9th on the Impression Obsession Blog.
Thank you for visiting me today!

Thanks for stopping by!
