Dina Kowal Creative: Spellbinders September Large Die Kit

This month's Large Die kit from Spellbinders is such a fun one! Cake anyone?

There are just enough layers in this cake die for a perfect rainbow cake, but on a day like today when the money is gone before the month has barely started, only chocolate will do. I found an inspiration photo online, and used some scraps of textured cardstock to fill in my layers. The little piping piece is colored with a colored pencil and dark brown Copic marker.

I chose the sentiment that fit my mood the best, which is from this Art Impressions set. Truth, right?

Here's the full set - there are all kinds of little toppings as well as sentiments that layer over the sections - you can even do a partial die cut to add more layers or take them away. And how about a fruit salad or background with all those accent dies? So much fun!
