Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Tag, You're It!

The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a project with a tag!

I love using this old house die as a tag - this is actually one of IO's very first dies! It's a great size for creating a house, a tag, or a shaped card. It's even been a pencil before!

I cut the base out of watercolor paper, scored every 1/2" across the panel, and then dragged Distress ink pads lightly down the card for a faux wood effect. I took my time coloring the wreath - the base color is done with Copic markers, and then I added more defined shading with colored pencils.

The heart is not really so tall - I cut it about in half with the top edge of the sentiment banner die, then glued it so the top and bottom were centered on the banner die cut.

Here's how the bow's attached - I tied a double bow with my Bow-Easy, then just tucked the tails through the hole of the tag.
