Libraries Transform - digital stamp!

I did a little extra project for fun this weekend - our local library is having a bookmark contest for an upcoming event, and they happened to have an adult category! The theme of the contest was "Libraries Transform" and I came up with this idea for my entry:

I love that the picture tells a story without words... and I love that it turned out just how it looked in my head. I used mostly Prismacolor pencils, blending with OMS since I had larger areas to cover, and also wanted to keep it vibrant. I used a little white gesso on the wings for a higher contrast.

I thought it would be fun to offer the artwork as a digital stamp, because it inspired me so much! You can purchase the digi in my Etsy store, and along with it you'll get a colored sample and a cute little copy of my Terms of Use. If you purchase, please be sure to share with me - I'd love to see your colorful interpretation. Have a great week!

Thanks for stopping by!
