Splitcoast Tutorial: Coloring Book Creations!

Today's tutorial over on Splitcoast is  an explosion of ideas for using coloring pages "outside the book". I turned this coloring page into a Christmas ornament!

I started off with a piece of hot press watercolor paper, which I ran through the printer, then colored random sections with Copic markers and Wink of Stella:

I used a grid die (Sizzix Grid Works) to cut six squares, and centered those on six white Twinchie Squares from Inchie Arts.

You can find the instructions for assembling the cube HERE - it's really pretty easy!

A couple more views of the ornament - that bell and silver cording were wrapped around a tin of cocoa I picked up today... easy recycling!

I set up my little Winnie the Pooh tree on my desk - it makes me so happy! I add a few ornaments to it every year, and I love these Midwest Classic Pooh ones the best. I love having it right in my little cubicle.

Hope you're having a great week! Tell me what goodies you ordered over the weekend! I'm excited about my Instant Pot!
Thanks for stopping by!
