On the move! and some selfies...

Just wanted to check in! I mentioned last week that we would be packing up and heading to Missouri as planned.... what wasn't planned was a little hospital stay and appendectomy! I truly didn't see that coming, but I'm thankful for a good, quick recovery and the timing... I can't imagine what would have happened if I'd needed emergency surgery away from home.

It may have been a little crazy to travel cross country 2 days post op... here's my hospital selfie.... eek...

...but I was able to rest well in the car, and got by with a little help from my friends... ;) So we are in Missouri now - still between houses but we have been blessed with a place to stay until we can find a temporary rental and get things moving on the house. God keeps providing for us, and we are so grateful!

I made this card for an upcoming challenge in our Dare To Get Dirty event - it starts soon! The stamps I used are from Art Impressions (girl), Honey Bee Stamps (map and icons), and Impression Obsession (word stamp - and the die is theirs as well).

If you're a Fan Club member, come see what we're doing this week! If not... why not? :)

Thanks for stopping by!

  12. Oh, Dina, what a sweet card and a perfect one given your move to Missouri and your hospital selfie! Yes, you've sure had a lot of challenges, but you're right that God continues to provide. And all His promises are true...one of which is that He promises to provide all your needs. I praise Him that the surgery was needed before your trip. How perfect His timing is in all things. Tender hugs and continued prayers, sweet friend! Love you! xoxo

  13. sorry to hear you had to go through that surgery but it is a blessing that you were able to go through it in an area you were comfortable in. The card is too cute, and I wish you all the best in this move

  14. Oh my, Bless your Heart, Dina! Traveling-Moving is tough enough without any ailments. So glad you arrived safe and sound. I live in a suburb of Springfield. It's nice being in our own little town, but just 30 minutes from the Mall and 3 major Craft stores. LOL. This "Crescent" Area (Republic, Nixa, Ozark) that surrounds Springfield has grown like crazy in the 20 years we've been here. Get well soon! Cute card. I always enjoy your art.
