Splitcoast Tutorial: Pocket Tissue Holder

**I've drawn a winner of the Seasons Giving hop prize - HolyLise, your box of goodies will go out today!

Today's tutorial over on Splitcoast is this cute Pocket Tissue Holder - I think it would be a perfect pick-me-up for someone with an icky winter cold.

I followed Vicki's advice and made 2 at once... these are retired stamps from The Cat's Pajamas and they're so much fun! I have been slowly organizing my stamps into a unified system, so I know what I have - I don't think these had seen ink before!

I used watercolor markers for my coloring, and a couple of dies from Simon Says Stamp for the sentiments - these go together very quickly and they're so easy and fun to make. The openings could be modified to hold little bottles or other small items too - see my next post for an idea!

Come take a peek if you'd like more info!
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This is so cute, Dina and would be great to give to someone in the hospital as it wouldn't take up a lot of room on the table and is cheery looking!

  2. This is so bright and cheery. Cute project and nice that it's a little different than an card as a get-well gift. I agree with Sue D. - great for a hospital.
