Splitcoast Tutorial: Yo-Yo Spinner Card
This week's tutorial over on Splitcoast is a fun interactive card called a Yo-Yo Spinner Card - there's a popped up element on the card front that spins with the pull of a string! It's a really cute project, and Deb's sample is adorable! Pop over to the tutorial page to see all her cute samples in action!
I made my spinner card using stamps from The Cat's Pajamas - it's a fun little set called Bearing Flowers. The image is watercolored using Distress and watercolor markers. Instead of a button pull, I strung a glass bead onto the twine. And that patterned panel is from the cover of a Basic Grey pad - just couldn't throw it away!
Hope you'll try this one!
Such a wonderful card! I just adore how you've coloured this.
ReplyDeleteI really like the image you chose to make this style of card. Your watercolouring is awesome. I think this might be the first Cat's Pajamas for you.
ReplyDeleteLove this yo yo card. Your bear is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh such a sweet card, real cute. Lovely colouring as always.
ReplyDeleteHe's a lovely little guy and makes a very appealing card. Using the cover from a pad is a fantastic idea (I thought it was strips of washi tape).
