Dove Cutout |
This card took just minutes to make. The background is a piece of clay-coated cardstock that I had used to clean my brayer while gel printing. Die cut... score... tear... stamp... glue. Done.
The sentiment can be found HERE.
I made a mixed media card using the die, just to balance out the easiness...! I debossed the die into watercolor paper by running it through my machine with the embossing pads. I rubbed a white oil pastel over the debossed image, then spritzed the panel and dropped Brusho Crystal Colors into the wet areas until I was satisfied with the color blend. The colors sank nicely into the outlines of the bird.
I rolled drywall tape through some of the wet paint, and used it as a stencil with white acrylic paint when everything was dry.
The word stamp Soar was embossed with white powder.
