Splitcoast Tutorial - Bendi Frame
Today's tutorial over on Splitcoast is brought to us by Kittie Caracciolo - you know her for her beautiful die cut scene cards, and today she's showing us how to create a dimensional "Bendi Frame" card.
I decided to make a simple CAS version of Kittie's frame card, and to build from the top instead of the bottom. I just reorganized my dies and wanted to use this pennant die from Simon Says Stamp, so I 'hung' a few strands across the layers of the card. The tag dies are by Sizzix, and the word stamp is from Impression Obsession. It's embossed in white on a distressed acrylic print I did on my Gelli Plate. I love how chalkboardish it looks. :)
Here's an angle shot on the card so you can see the depth of the frame - it's amazing how such a small difference in width can make such a big difference in the center dimension!
I bought some pretty ribbon on ebay a few weeks ago - thought this narrow piece would add a fun pop to the black and white.
