On My Heart

I made a quick card for Simon Says Stamps' LoveFest challenge - the challenge was just to use dies on a project, and I had this new untested die (Heart Flourish) from Impression Obsession still sitting on my desk. Perfect! I used a watercolor card and ran the die through my Big Shot on the embossing pad for a letterpressed look, then watercolored just the heart using reinkers. When the paint was dry, I added some shading with a watersoluble graphite pencil.

The Banners and Tails die and accompanying clear sets (Life Stuff Sentiments, Warm Fuzzy Sentiments) are some of my designs... there are 4 differently shaped banners, and the clear sentiments can be bent to fit the curves of the banners. So fun!
