Chipboard Ornaments

I shared a quick tutorial over at the Mix-Ability Forum yesterday, so I thought I'd share it here too - I'm not a huge fan of mass-production, but sometimes it's necessary. I've been making ornaments for an upcoming ladies' tea so I documented my process for posterity... these are fun and easy, and you don't need fancy materials to make them!

Here is the sample I made in the video - these are the ones that I'm making now, with some variety in the shapes (circles, vintage ornaments, and hexagons).

......and another sample that was much simpler to make, using designer paper and some diecuts from Impression Obsession.

Here's the video!  Send me a link if you make some, or link up in the challenge gallery - I wanna see!!

We're having our Thanksgiving meal today because it works so much better with our schedule - hope you had a wonderful celebration surrounded by people who love you. xo
 Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Fabulous video, beautiful ornaments, GREAT ideas! I'm wondering if you could cover the finished image with clear embossing powder and heat to seal as well? TFS!!! May have to make a bunch of these!

  2. Love these, Dina! What a fun project. I've always gifted my kids a special ornament each year, and have now passed this tradition on to my grandchildren. I want to do this for next year!! Thanks for the great idea....miss you!
