TTC19 - Getting Hairy

There's a new challenge up at the Touch Twin Markers & More Challenge blog - this time we're using our markers to create projects featuring images that have colorable hair. We hope you'll join the fun!

I picked up a few stamps from I Love Rubber Stamps at the show I attended in Idaho a couple months ago - this little Yorkie was just so sweet and I thought it would be fun to color up for this challenge. The colors I used are below. If you love realistic, detailed images that beg to be colored, you might enjoy this family-owned company. Their stamps are available unmounted or wood-mounted, and the red rubber is deeply etched. The animal designs are absolutely beautiful.

For me, the key to coloring animal hair is starting light, working with a light hand, and adding lots of layers.

These are the Touch Twin Markers that I used:

Did you know...... Touch Twin Markers will soon be available at Oozak? Love. Their. Service.

You can visit the Touch Twin Markers & More Challenge blog for all the details if you'd like to play! Don't have a blog? That's OK. Just post to any online gallery with the keywords TTC19 and touchtwin. Have fun!
Thanks for stopping by!
