More flowers

Here's another card that fits this week's Flower Soft challenge to use Flower Soft for Flowers! This is an Embossing Arts stamp, a line recently purchased by I Brake for Stamps - I love this image and I'm so glad to know that it is still available, along with the rest of the gorgeous EA line. I stamped the image on canvas (purchased in a spiral 'pad'), using Versafine ink. For most of the background (light tan) I painted with watered down acrylic paint. The rest is colored using Neopiko markers. After the paint was dry, I filled in the flowered areas with Flower Soft: Sweet Pea Mix, Ivory, and some I dyed myself with Soft Rose ink.

Laying low today..... we had a busy week then had some needs in town yesterday, so I was out and on my feet all day, then had about an hour of rest before pizza time! Thankful, though, to have students who call us friends, even a houseful! Also thankful that we were able to wrap up and send off some of the cards we have been working on (me along with the other student ladies)! It's been fun to work together, so that is a reward in itself - but it's great to see our efforts turn into something that will become a blessing to someone else.

OK - back to my checklist!! What's next - granola? bookkeeping? putting meds away? lesson plans?

Have a great weekend - thanks to all who have participated in the blog hops that passed through here last week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. I love this card! The colours are so soft and pretty. I only wish you had made the full picture clickable so we could see it up close. It's lovely.
