JustRite Challenge: Thank you card

I was having so much fun playing with my new stamps from JustRite Stampers, I thought I'd play along with their challenge this week! The challenge (#39) is to use their stamps to make a Thanksgiving or Thank You card.

Here's my entry: The text is computer-generated, and printed on sparkly cardstock, then cut out with a Spellbinders die (Labels 8). I stamped the Morning Glory (My Garden set) image several times in chalk ink on the label, then used the same ink to watercolor the images lightly. The Hummingbird (Back Yard Birds) is stamped on a Twinchie Square (Inchie Arts), and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I used chalk inks for the clouds and grassy area.

Here are the pencils that I used - just four today!

  2. Hi Dina, you made a beauty again! Lovely the stamping with chalk on the background and repeating in the image. Do you prefer the Prisma pencils? I have never used that brand before and have Derwent and Karisma. Greetz, Miranda
