Hello Harriet!

I couldn't resist grabbing up this free digital stamp from Waltzingmouse Stamps - isn't she beautiful? This is Harriet, and she was a freebie created especially for World Cardmaking Day... which I completely missed. Missed!I printed the digi on some textured cardstock (this is a newer product here and I love it! Nice heavy, textured, very white cardstock), and colored with Neopiko markers and Prismacolors. I used Ultrafine Flower Soft (Sand) on the cuffs and collar - I love that stuff! The Ultrafine is a bit like flocking, but... just better. The sentiment I used is from an older Stampin' Up! set - I think it might be retired. The button paper is vellum that I've hoarded forever... time to use it. I was hoping you could see the dimension of the focal piece in this picture, but maybe not. I cut around the edge of the gloves, one side of the ribbon on the gift, and one side of the bow on the hat, and popped them up with foam tape. That's all I know today!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Wow... you got so creative with this image, it looks amazing! I love how you added the 3D elements - making her fur 'real' and popping a few things up. The way she is coming out of your tag really caught my eye. Gorgeous!
