another birdhouse card...
I haven't made a shaped card for a while, so I pulled out my book of templates and decided on this birdhouse one. I love this card - and the Indigo Bunting image from smARTworks was the perfect size for it.
I got the template from an older Paper Crafts magazine... sorry I can't find one online that's similar to share, but maybe you can get a general idea for the template from the shot of the opened card below. I'm not sure what PC's copyright policy is on sharing scanned templates...so I'd better stay safe. I probably have the magazine somewhere to find the date of the issue, but sigh...I don't want to dig through boxes for it. Sorry...
On the front of the card I went for a faux wood look, using pencil lines and some other inks directly on the pearlescent cardstock. I stamped the bird image twice, and popped the bird up on foam tape. The bird is colored with Neopiko markers and Prismacolor pencils.
