Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Fall Colors
This was a quick answer to the challenge to use Fall colors on our Impression Obsession cards! The card base is embossed with a Fiskars texture plate, next panel sponged and stamped with "How Do I Love Thee?", and the leaf is a diecut, covered with handmade paper. The focal panel is watercolored with Derwent pencils and a waterbrush. The heavy twine was a local find. Be sure to check out the links to the left for Fall creations by other team designers!
What a fab idea, I have always been stumped by big die cut shapes, the texture is too smooth for me. It is one of those duh! moments..LOL I have plenty of textured papers. Thanks loads, PS makes me feel like Fall is in the air with those colors...cool.
ReplyDeleteLovely card...really find the rusty orange yells out fall time. Pat
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card for being "quick and easy!" That burnt orange is just my favorite color -- so I could look at your card all day! ;-) Hope things are starting to recover in your house!
ReplyDeleteQuick and easy?! Sure doesn't look it. Love it!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, Dina. Hope all have recovered in your household. It's not nice to have the whole household on sick bay. Well almost the whole household. ;-)
ReplyDeleteDina - -this is so vibrant and rich, with the soft watercoloring- it's a beauty.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better!!
Beautiful! The colors and textures make a lovely fall card. It's hard to believe fall is coming soon with it so hot out.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see you have your power back. Now if you can just get your water back.
so pretty and elegant love the colors
